To ensure maximum of pupil participation class size is limited to 8 pupils. They attend lessons designed to develop their accuracy in the language every morning from 9.00 until 12.15. Lunch from 12.15 to 13.15 is followed by oral and communication skills workshops also held in groups of no more than 8 pupils until 14.45. Sports and games takesplace after the lessons.

Morning Porgramme

The morning lessons are designed to develop accuracy in the language and cover:

• 09.00-10.30:  grammatical structures of the language and vocabulary building
• 10.30-10.45:  morning break
• 10.45-12.15: formal comprehension training exercises and structured expression training exercises (essay, presentations, explanations)

Lunch at school: a packed lunch from the host family

Afternoon programme

Afternoons are devoted to workshops designed to encourage fluency and a spontaneous use of the language:

• guided debate practice and presentations
• exchange of ideas and experiences
• active listening practice
• letter, memo, note writing

Late afternoon programme

To relax after concentrating on the language learning pupils take part in games and sports activities.

Dinner

Students return home after the leisure programme to have dinner and spend the evening with the host family.
